Turkish tactician Kasim Gokyildiz has resigned as Heart of Lions head coach after a disappointing start to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The Kpando-based club have managed just one win, two draws and five defeats in eight matches, leaving them one point above the relegation zone with eight points.
Gokyildiz returned to Ghana ahead of the season on a one-year contract after replacing Bashir Hayford, whose deal expired.
The former King Faisal, Bechem United and Hohoe United coach leaves Heart of Lions searching for a replacement ahead of Sunday’s home clash with Bechem United at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
