Governance Structure
The GPL operates within a three-tier structure:
- Ghana Football Association (GFA) - The regulatory authority governing all football in Ghana
- Ghana Premiership Football Company Limited - The commercial vehicle managing GPL brand and marketing (est. 2025)
- Adesa Productions Limited - The production and broadcast partner

Established in 2025, the Ghana Premiership Football Company Limited represents a structural innovation in Ghanaian football. This joint venture serves as the commercial vehicle for GPL transformation, separating business operations from the GFAs regulatory functions.
Key Initiatives (2025/26 Season):
- GHS 1 million investment per club for operations and infrastructure
- First-ever merit-based prize structure rewarding all league positions
- Stadium modernization for broadcast-ready venues
- Coordinated radio commentary across all leagues
